In the latest annual ranking of the Top 100 Places to Eat in the United States, Yelp has again highlighted the finest dining destinations from around the country, as voted for by customers. This year, the 10th edition of the list, sees a diverse range of culinary styles and establishments represented, with three Orlando eateries claiming coveted spots on the esteemed rundown.
The highest ranking of the trio is Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine, taking the ninth spot, and winning acclaim from patrons who praised the food for providing "a party for my taste buds that I never wanted to end." The restaurant also garnered praise from Orlando Weekly's food critic, Faiyaz Kara, who described it as a "gastronomic love fest."
At 30th place is the popular omakase-style eatery, Kadence, which drew plaudits for its exquisite presentation and "superlative, multicourse omakase dinners" from Orlando Weekly. One happy customer declared, "The fish was incredible...perfect for food photos."
Rounding out the trio, Hungry Pants, a "plant-curious" business, came in at number 42. Hungry Pants was applauded by Yelpers for being a welcoming place for diners with a range of dietary requirements, whether they were meat eaters, vegetarians, or vegans. Orlando Weekly, meanwhile, was captivated by the restaurant's cheeseburger and sour orange pie in a 2020 review.
Kadence and Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine also made the cut in Yelp's 2022 Top 100 list. These restaurants' impressive showing across multiple years is a testament to the consistency and excellence of their culinary offerings.
